What to Expect from the Zoom Process

In order to create an individualized whitening plan, our team will start by examining and cleaning your teeth. We’ll discuss the type of results you’re looking for and go over our expectations of what that process will look like for you.

During the examination, your dentist assesses the health of your teeth and gums to make sure Zoom is the right whitening treatment option for you, and one of our lovely hygienists cleans your teeth and removes plaque build-up. This will help prepare your teeth for the whitening process to achieve optimal results.

Now for the whitening!

We’ll start by applying a whitening gel to your teeth, followed by the Zoom light activator. The light kicks the gel into gear and helps break down years of stains. Depending on your goals, the time your teeth are under the light and the number of reapplications will vary.

Typically, this process takes around 45 minutes to complete. You may require more than one whitening session.
